Shelia Hiestand - Attorney

Sheila Hiestand is an attorney at Hughes & Coleman whose practice is dedicated to representing victims of personal injury, medical malpractice and nursing home neglect or abuse in Kentucky.

She was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 1993. She is a member of the Fayette County Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association, and is line to be president of the Kentucky Justice Association. Among her professional honors is a listing in Kentucky Super Lawyers in 2009 & 2010 and an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. A basketball player in her undergraduate years, she was recently inducted into Centre College’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Active in the community, she is on the boards of the Alzheimer’s Association of Lexington and the Volunteer Center of the Bluegrass.

She earned her B.A. at Centre College of Kentucky and her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
