J. Marshall Hughes - Partner
J. Marshall Hughes is a farmer, businessman and founding partner of Hughes & Coleman. He has an extensive history of representing personal injury victims and their loved ones throughout Kentucky and Tennessee.
In addition to his legal practice, Hughes has been a leader in the state’s legal community, serving on the Kentucky Bar Association’s ethics and office management committees.
Hughes also has been an active community member, co-founding the Kids are Special child safety program, Arrive Alive drunk-driving awareness campaign and Hope Blooms, a daffodil garden in Bowling Green that symbolizes hope for cancer patients.
A member of Christ Episcopal Church, he has also coached youth sports, established educational scholarships and served on local chambers of commerce.
Hughes is a Greenville native who received his B.A. from Western Kentucky and his J.D. from Indiana University.
He is married to Judith Given Hughes, daughter of the late Ken Given, the first “voice of the Hilltoppers” sports announcer. They have two children and three grandchildren.
